Boy, do we love the missionaries!
Each one brings their own talents and the Lord magnifies and fine tunes them into men and women of God.
Elder Domgaard and Elder Petty were assigned to the ward we attend. Elder Domgaard returned to Gusher, Utah this last transfer. What a wonderful young man he is! We enjoyed his sense of humor and his unmatchless grasp of what really matters in this 'ole life. Elder Petty has a sweet disposition and a smile as big as all outdoors. Elders Domgaard and Petty chose a date to baptize a family into the ward. They worked with the Bishop, fasted and prayed, knocked on doors, etc. They had faith and trusted. On the evening before their set date, a girl they were teaching chose to be baptized the next day--the day they had set. She was unaware of their goal and was the last in her family to be baptized. Sometimes the Lord works in miraculous ways!
Taking care of missionary health is our primary function but a benefit of working with the missionaries is the spiritual boost that come when we associate with them in person. Today we attended the Illinois Chicago South Zone Conference. The main theme was Faith. I was again reminded faith replaces fear. We must choose. I'm so proud of all of you who have chosen to live by faith instead of fear. You will and are blessed.

I loved the stories you've shared with use about Elder Domguard (sp?). You guys are great examples to them and our family, too.
What a great experience! I am so jealous of the spiritual growth each missionary achieves as they serve the Lord. You two sure have given me a deep desire to be a better servant. Sure appreciate the sacrifice you have made to bless our family!
