We we delighted to welcome the Marshall Mendenhall Family to New England. They were gracious to let us tag along with them and see some of the sights including Boston. This picture was taken in front of the Paul Revere statue. It's hard to see but in the back is a steeple. That's the Old North Church, which is still in use today for Sunday services.
The good part of visiting Boston is we walked the Freedom Trail and got to see for ourselves places that are steeped in American history. The bad news is we walked in 103 degree weather with high humidity. We drank a lot of water and stopped often but it was still way too HOT!
