Our mission report was on April 17, 2011. Doc and I were the only speakers. Our theme was Alma 37:6-7 "Now ye may suppose that this is foolishness in me; but behold I say unto you, that by small and simple things are great things brought to pass; and small means in many instances doth confound the wise. And the Lord God doth work by means to bring about his great and eternal purposes; and by very small means the Lord doth confound the wise and bringeth about the salvation of many souls."
Following Sacrament Meeting, we held a brunch at our home. The weather cooperated and it was a grand day for us. The girls all came on Saturday afternoon and helped prepare the food. The menu included Betty Garber's Jewish noodle pudding (pictured above), President & Sister Pehrson's Swedish Rice Pudding (pictured below), Sister Roach's breakfast casserole, fresh fruit and dip, spring pasta salad, meat and cheese trays, Bratton's New England clam chowder, Boston baked beans candy, Munson's creme brulee chocolates, pineapple & mandarin orange boats, and last but not least, Chelsey made 72 lobster-shaped sugar cookies.
