What a treasure Elizabeth Park is in Hartford. In the spring we enjoyed the rose arches and now in September there are spectacular dahlias. This one above is the dinner plate variety and is literally as big as a dinner plate.
The colors are so vibrant. I thank Heavenly Father for mini miracles like fall dahlias to cheer us. Here are a few more pictures of the flowers. Which is your favorite?

I can't choose just one. Dahlias are one of my favorites...mine sure aren't the dinner plate variety. So beautiful! Our Heavenly Father sure has a imagination and has created such a beautiful world.
